Paolo Maldini is an Italian former defender considered one of the greatest defenders of all time. He spent his entire club career at AC Milan, where he became an absolute club legend and captain. In more than 900 official matches for the club, he won numerous accolades, including five UEFA Champions League titles and seven Serie A titles. Maldini made his debut for the Italian national team in 1988 and ultimately represented Italy 126 times. He participated in four World Cups and three European Championships, reaching the finals of the 1994 World Cup and Euro 2000 with Italy.
