About Mikel Oyarzabal

Mikel Oyarzabal became one of Real Sociedad's most important players and a permanent fixture in the Spanish national team. He went through the youth academy of the Basque club and made his debut in the first team at a young age in 2015. Since then, he has grown into one of the club's big names.

At Real Sociedad, Oyarzabal developed into a versatile attacker who can play both on the wing and centrally in attack. With his excellent technique, game insight, and scoring ability, he became an important player and later also captain of the club. In 2021, he led Real Sociedad to victory in the Copa del Rey by scoring from the penalty spot in the final against Athletic Club.

Oyarzabal also became an important international for Spain. He represented his country in several major international tournaments and played a key role during Euro 2024. In the final against England, he scored the decisive goal in the closing stages, securing Spain the European title.
