About Javier Zanetti
Javier Zanetti is an Argentine former footballer considered one of the greatest club legends in Internazionale's history. In 1995, he moved from Banfield to Inter, where he became captain and one of the most respected players in the club's history. Zanetti played an astonishing 858 official matches for the club and wore the captain's armband for many years. In the 2009/10 season, he made history by captaining the team to the historic treble, winning Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League. In total, he won five league titles, four Coppa Italia trophies, and the Champions League with Inter. He also made over 140 appearances for the Argentine national team. Known for his immense physical condition, versatility, professionalism, and leadership, Zanetti is regarded as one of the greatest defenders and midfielders in the history of Italian football.
