About Heung-Min Son

Heung-Min Son moved from Bayer Leverkusen to Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, where he became one of the greatest forwards and club icons in the club's history. The South Korean attacker quickly became a crowd favourite thanks to his speed, technique, goal-scoring ability, and impressive two-footedness.

During his years at Tottenham, Son grew into one of the most productive attackers in the Premier League. He formed one of the most dangerous attacking duos in English football with Harry Kane and became a key player during the successful period under Mauricio Pochettino and later other managers.

One of his most memorable achievements came in the 2021/22 season, when Son became the Premier League's top scorer with 23 goals. This made him the first Asian player ever to win the Premier League Golden Boot. In 2023, he was also appointed captain of Tottenham Hotspur.

The absolute highlight came in 2025, when Son, as captain, led Tottenham to victory in the Europa League. In the final against Manchester United, Tottenham won 1-0, securing the club's first major European trophy in years.
