About Cristian Chivu
Cristian Chivu is a former Romanian footballer known as a versatile and technically strong defender. He began his professional career in Romania and made his international breakthrough at Ajax, where he became captain. In 2003, he moved to AS Roma and then to Internazionale, where he became an important part of one of the most successful teams in the club's history. In the 2009/10 season, Chivu won the historic treble with Inter, consisting of Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League. In total, he won three league titles with the club and played a significant role in the team's success. He was also captain and an important leader for the Romanian national team for many years. Known for his excellent positioning, passing, leadership, and versatility as a central defender and left-back, Chivu is considered one of the best Romanian defenders of his generation.
